Directions
From Amsterdam Schiphol Airport: Trains run from Schiphol airport to "Amsterdam Centraal" station every 15 minutes and the journey takes about 15 minutes. One-way tickets start from €3,80. From the station we are easily reached by foot (see below) or public transport. The metro lines run from the Centraal Station to the Nieuwmarkt square (just one stop). Take a TCA taxi, if possible. Taxi's in Amsterdam charge by the kilometer, the two kilometers is a set rate of €7,50. After this you will be charged for each 1/10 of a meter. A taxi ride from Centraal Station to the hotel must not cost more than €7,50. You have the right to refuse to pay anything more than this. In this case you need to note the car number, license plate number, name of driver (if possible), date and time so that we can file a complaint.

By Taxi: Would you like to be picked up at Schiphol airport and brought to straight to the hotel hassle-free? We can arrange for a taxi to be waiting for you just outside the airport to bring you directly to the hotel for a fixed rate of €37,50 (for 1-3 persons & mobile phone number necessary for this rate). Taxi vans are available for 4-6 persons at a rate of €47,50. Taxi's from the 'Taxi stand' at the airport will try to charge you between 45-55 euros. You have the right to refuse to pay anything more than €45,-. In this case you need to note the car number, license plate number, name of driver (if possible), date and time so that we can file a complaint with the company. If they won't accept the €45,- let them know we will call the police. It may be possible to arrange a fee before departure and if possible take a TCA taxi.

From Amsterdam Centraal train station:
By foot: The hotel is just a 10 minute walk from the Amsterdam Centraal Station. When you exit the station you'll see a large church on your left hand side and on the right hand side of that a large NH hotel. Walk towards them and on the right hand side of the hotel will be a street called the Zeedijk. Follow this street to the end and you will reach Nieuwmarkt square. Cross the Nieuwmarkt square on the right hand side. On the other side of the square will be a canal. You will find us on the right hand side of this canal (Kloveniersburgwal) at #20.

By Public Transport: You can take the Metro (subway) from under Amsterdam Centraal Station all lines run from Amsterdam Centraal Station to the Nieuwmarkt square (just one stop). When you get out of the Metro train walk to the Nieuwmarkt exit. When you get out at the square the hotel will be on the canal (Kloveniersburgwal) to your left hand side at #20 .
